Lifestyle medicine
Sustainable health comes from daily habits. We combine conventional medical care with evidence-based lifestyle changes to help prevent and manage chronic disease.
What is lifestyle medicine?
Lifestyle medicine uses evidence-based changes to everyday habits β nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress, substance use and social connection β to help prevent and manage chronic conditions such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and obesity.
Dr Ng Joon Hwee has been an IBLM-certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician since 2024. Lifestyle medicine works alongside, not instead of, medication and other treatment.
